Accessibility Update

The font can now be changed to OpenDyslexic.

Please note that this feature is not fully supported, as the game was initially designed around its default Journal font. There may be a few instances of text being cut off due to the larger font size.

UI/UX Overhaul

To accommodate the larger OpenDyslexic font, the descriptions of certain items and skills have been re-written to be more concise.

The footnotes have also been removed. Instead, icons are now placed before keywords. Mouse over the icon to bring up a tooltip with more detailed information.

Speaking of icons... Icons have also been added to the stats overview in the equip menu. Mouse over them to see what each stat does.

The codex has also been updated to use smaller character battler graphics instead of faces.

Other changes

  • Optimized battle performance. Apparently I had the battle status windows constantly check/update information in real time when I really didn't need to. Oopsie woopsie. Hopefully the game is playable on a potato now.
  • Fixed a bug that caused bleed's damage to always proc when taking physical damage.
  • Optimize will no longer equip multiple copies of a unique card, even if you have nothing else to equip.
  • Updated icons for Midori's Lighting, Akane's Frenzy, and Aoi's Heal.
  • Added a looping animation to units equipped with Ebony Lily. Lasts until using a skill. Also added animation to first skill use.
  • Added a looping animation to units equipped with Potion Toss. Lasts until attacking.
  • Added a looping animation to units equipped with Midori Gaiden while its buff is active.
  • Added an animation when Demon Lord Slayers activates, and a looping animation while its buff is active.
