RPG Maker MV Plugin Collection

A collection of all the plugins I've made for RPG Maker MV. No longer in active development because I lost all faith and interest in RPG Maker after GGG unceremoniously shut down the official RPG Maker Forums, but leaving these here for archival purposes for the two or three people who may want to use them long after the forum and the resources on it are gone, reduced to atoms.

TERMS OF USE (Updated 2026/04/29)

• All my plugins are free for both non-commercial and commercial projects. I only ask that for commercial games, please send me a free copy of the game. (I can be reached via Bluesky @apho.itch.io)
• Edits are allowed for personal use.
• Do not repost or claim as your own, even if edited.
• Do not use for training AI models. This includes, but is not limited to, inputting the plugin contents or part thereof into AI models that train on user input.

AVAILABLE PLUGINS

• Battle Test - Provides various features to help with battle testing.
• Damage Core - Allows for more control over damage and stuff.
• Equip Optimize Grade - Allows the 'Optimize' command in the equip menu to utilize a grading system defined by the developer.
• Max Items - Allows for more control over the maximum number of items that may be carried, as well as displaying information about them in the inventory.
• Random Critical Animation - Allows for playing a random animation when landing a crit.
• Random Enemy Hue - Allows randomisation of enemy hues.
• Random Game Over - Allows randomisation of the defeat ME, Game Over image, and Game Over ME.
• Random Title Screen - Allows customisation/randomisation of the title screen.
• Skill Seal - Allows for more control over sealing skills.
• Speed Eval - Allows the use of formulas to adjust the invocation speed of skills and items, and adjusting base speed formula.

ISSUE REPORTING

Please note that my plugins have only been tested on RPG Maker MV 1.6.3a, with my own plugins. Compatibility with other versions of RPG Maker, or with other plugins, is neither guaranteed nor supported.

Checklist before reporting an issue:

• Read the plugin's help section. Ensure that you understand what the plugin is or is not supposed to do.
• Check that the plugin is installed and configured properly.
• Confirm that the issue can be reproduced in a blank project, with no other plugins installed.
• Check the console (F8) for error messages. This can oftentimes reveal syntax errors in your notetags.
• Check your notetags and plugin parameters to ensure you do not have syntax errors.

When reporting an issue, please include the following:

• Version of RPG Maker MV
• Exact plugin parameters used (for plugins that have them)
• Exact notetags used (for plugins that use them)
• Error messages from the console, if any.
• Steps to reproduce the issue.

Reports that do not follow the above instructions will be ignored. This is due to people reporting non-issues where the problem exists between the chair and keyboard, which I unfortunately do not have time to address.
